Hey, my name’s Kelly! And I’m a wedding photographer located in the West Chicago suburbs.
When you hire me, you’re getting more than JUST a photographer. I will be your biggest hype-man, personal DJ (yes I wear a fanny pack with a speaker), wedding planner who will help with your timeline, and at some point of the day/night I will probably end up crying during your vows or at your dad’s speech. My couples are not a number to me, they become my friends who I’m SO excited to celebrate when the day finally comes.
If there is one thing I can promise to you, it’s that I will do everything I can to make sure you have the BEST day of you life, and beautiful photos to look back on.
Someone once asked me, “Alright, serious question: what is your WHY? Why does photography set your soul on fire? How do you know this is what you are meant to be doing?”
Simply put, my answer is because of YOU. When I meet a couple, I lose myself in their relationship. Being able to witness such an undeniable bond between two people is beautiful, and capturing their wedding day is truly such an honor. You, my clients, you are the reason I am able to do what I love. I couldn’t imagine my life doing anything else, and I know this is where I’m meant to be.
But, enough sappiness, here’s a few things about me!
I am a die hard Cubs fan, and even have a tattoo of the ‘W’ on my forearm! The year they won the World Series was actually the year I moved to Nashville, so that sucked. But you better believe I drove up the next day to witness the Cubs parade downtown.
I met my now husband off Bumble and we had our first date on ‘galentines’ day— and the rest is history! He is literally the best guy I have ever met. Peep our awkward wedding photo hahah
When I'm not editing or out here taking pictures, you can find me on the couch snuggled up with Marty and Todd (our cute, sasshole corgi), a glass of pinot noir, and watching any TV show we can binge together.
